Upgrade In Motion

This week marks a huge milestone—we’ve officially launched our 6-week masterclass! And the response? Absolutely insane. Over 1,500 people signed up, and last Thursday, we hosted our first session with none other than William Lam.

Now, if you don’t know who William is, let me introduce you. He owns the coaching company UPGRD, which is all about mental programming—or reprogramming the brain. He was the catalyst for change in my own journey. For years, my business looked the same. Year after year, it remained unchanged because, frankly, I wasn’t doing anything different. Even though I said I wanted to grow, I wasn’t truly growing. Yes, I’d attend an event here and there, and I had a real estate coach, but me—Spring Bengtzen as a human—wasn’t really evolving.

I attended one of William’s trainings in late 2020, and it completely shifted my perspective. In fact, it was so impactful that I ended up hiring him as my personal coach. I asked him to kick off the masterclass series because while I can show you how to build a massive network or brand, if you don’t design what you want and resolve what’s holding you back, you will keep running the same patterns, just as I did.

From the feedback we’ve received, it’s clear that last week’s session resonated with so many of you. The energy, the mindset shifts, the breakthroughs—it was everything we hoped for and more. If you missed it, you can catch the replay in the Downline Diaries Facebook group.

Building the Foundation for Upgrade

You might have caught on that call that when I said yes to moving companies, part of the reason was that I wanted to build something with William. I believe that the real estate space needs more than just production—we need transformation. We believe that if we can help our partners upgrade in all aspects of life, it will shift everything.

That is why we are calling the community Upgrade—the name is intentional. It’s more than just a label; it represents the movement we’re creating. This isn’t just about growing a downline; it’s about upgrading everything—your income, your leadership, your mindset, your business, and your life.

Behind the Scenes

This week has been all about laying the foundation. We’ve locked in our network offer and mapped everything out in Lucidchart—a clear vision of what’s to come. A big piece of this is incorporating some of William’s programs alongside my own coaching programs to create a next-level system that streamlines everything for onboarding agents into the community.

With that, we’re also building out new workflows, backend systems, and automations to make everything seamless when we start bringing people in. This is the behind-the-scenes work that isn’t always flashy but is absolutely necessary for long-term scalability.

The Goal: Mid-March Launch

We are full steam ahead with a target to launch by mid-March. Right now, it’s all about refining the offer, finalizing workflows, and ensuring the backend is set up to support the massive momentum we’re building.

The Good: Progress is Happening

It might not always feel fast enough, but we’re making moves. The foundational pieces are getting done, the vision is getting clearer, and the momentum is building. This is how you scale something truly transformational—one strategic step at a time.

  • One of my teams coming over is going to be ready to announce this next week, which is exciting!
  • This move has shifted a lot in my world and is opening up a lot of new doors. I have relationships and collaborations that I didn’t have five weeks ago, and they are impactful. Plus, I’m having fun.
  • Growth is sometimes uncomfortable (and man, I have been uncomfortable a lot lately). But I’m also looking at the big picture, and most of the things I’m working on right now wouldn’t exist without this move. For that, I’m incredibly grateful. As the saying goes, change your environment, change your life.

The Bad: It Always Takes Longer

The reality? Big things take time. When you’re building something new, it’s easy to feel like it should all happen overnight. But in the grand scheme of life, five weeks is nothing. The foundational work we’re doing now is setting the stage for something massive, and that’s worth every extra moment it takes.

What’s Next

This week, I’m in Dallas for a two-day EXP mastermind with some of the top agents in the country. It’s always a little weird stepping into a room full of new people and being the new kid on the block, but I’m also loving the growth it’s creating.

From there, I’m flying straight home for an all-day EOS meeting for the new Upgrade community. If we want to hit the goal of 10,000 partners within three years, then we need to treat this like a real business. That might sound lofty, and it is—but why not design exactly what we want?

Besides, 10x is easier than 2x, so let’s build this in a way that allows everyone to upgrade. 🚀

Stay tuned, because Upgrade is coming, and it’s going to be a game-changer.
